Twinkle Stars Kinder Class for Comprehensive English
The Twinkle Stars Programme helps pre-Primary 1 students build a comprehensive foundation in English, focusing on spelling, reading, comprehension, writing, and oral communication. Lessons are designed to be interactive, creative, and enjoyable, using songs, games, visual prompts, and hands-on activities to make learning come alive. Each session activates children’s cognitive and linguistic development, guiding them to recognise words, form sentences, and express ideas confidently. Through consistent exposure to stories, vocabulary exercises, and guided writing, young learners develop both the skills and enthusiasm needed to transition smoothly into primary school English.
STELLAR Integrated Creative Writing
The Stellar English Programme at Writers Studio builds strong, confident students from Primary 1 to 6. Through structured, engaging lessons that blend oracy, visual and auditory learning, students gain a firm foundation in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and writing. As they progress, they learn to express ideas clearly and creatively : crafting vivid compositions, analysing complex texts, and speaking with poise. Designed and taught by experienced ex-MOE educators, the Stellar Programme nurtures both skill and imagination, empowering every child to think critically, write meaningfully, and excel in English with lasting confidence.
Starbright Pri 3 to 6 Creative Writing Programmes
The Starbright Programme is a creative writing course offered by Writers Studio, designed to develop students’ writing abilities in a structured, progressive way. Lessons help students apply creative and technical writing skills to achieve measurable improvement in the compositions they write for school.
With Continuous Writing being the main focus of the PSLE English Paper 1, many of the techniques in this programme directly support examinable skills. Our curriculum balances creativity with clarity, guiding students to write with confidence, precision, and emotional depth. Lessons are engaging, age-appropriate, and intentionally designed to foster critical thinking, a key skill for success in preparing for the PSLE English paper. Taught by trained creative writing teachers with strong PSLE track record.
The Starbright Programme offers a progressive curriculum designed to prepare students for the PSLE English Paper 1. Each level builds systematically on core skills, ensuring students strengthen their foundations before mastering advanced writing techniques. Every lesson targets a specific learning objective : from idea development to stylistic refinement, helping students apply each skill with growing independence. Through structured methods like “Show, Not Tell”, descriptive writing, and narrative frameworks, the programme nurtures not just exam readiness, but a lasting appreciation for the art of writing.
Starbright Pri 1 to 2 Creative Writing Programmes
The Starbright Junior Programme nurtures young writers from the ground up, introducing Primary 1 and 2 students to writing through a structured and imaginative approach. In Primary 1, children learn descriptive and simple narrative writing, focusing on expressing actions and emotions creatively. By Primary 2, they progress to thematic story writing using the Mount Story Planner, learning to structure stories with clear beginnings, climaxes, and resolutions.
Lessons blend art, role-play, games, and storytelling to make writing fun and meaningful. Students also explore values and emotions, learning to write with empathy and purpose. Beyond writing skills, the programme builds character, confidence, and expressive language : preparing students for advanced writing in upper primary and even DSA success in later years.

Stardream Integrated Writing
Writers Studio’s English Mastery Framework equips students with a complete set of language skills through four focused modules.
CAM (Comprehension Analysis Mastery) builds critical reading and interpretation skills, training students to analyse narrative, non-narrative, and visual texts with precision.
EXCEL (Essay Content and Language Excellence) develops strong, structured writing across key essay types, helping students express ideas clearly and persuasively using current, real-world topics.

STELLAR Integrated Creative Writing Course (P1 to P6)
Our pioneer course, STELLAR Integrated Creative Writing (ICW) provides primary school students with a strong foundation in the English language. We believe that to be able to write well, one has to understand the fundamentals of the essential components of the English language at the primary level: Grammar, Sentence Construction and Contextual Vocabulary.
STELLAR focuses on holistic English language learning and guiding students to excel in the years leading up to their PSLE. Other than Creative Writing and Paper 2 components, students are also well-prepared for their oral exam.

STARBRIGHT Writing Course (Pri 4 to Pri 6)
At its core, Writers Studio is all about writing. Our founder herself is a poet and a writer. She also graduated with a Masters in Creative Writing. STARBRIGHT, her brainchild, is specially designed to focus purely on writing—be it Situational Writing or Creative Writing. As a speech and drama teacher, she believes that Writing is an empathetic process. Students step into character through drama activities. Trained in teaching kids with multiple intelligences, she unlocks the creativity in students by harnessing brain activation techniques.
STARBRIGHT is a deep and extensive writing course that creates confident and effective writers. We believe that writing can and should be more than just putting pen to paper. It is about critical thinking. About connecting with the reader. And most importantly, it is about purposeful communication.
This tried-and-proven course is for students who wish to focus on sharpening their writing abilities. Unlike STELLAR Integrated Creative Writing, it is not inclusive of Paper 2 components.
