Writers Studio’s English language teachers bring with them years of expertise in English and creative writing instruction. Prior to each lesson, our teachers plan how to deliver the concepts in the best way that caters to each student. We analyse the weaknesses and strengths of each student based on what was observed during the previous lessons. Each new lesson includes a revision of what was taught, followed by new concepts that are layered on to ensure that learning is optimised.

What stands out most is the diverse variety of English writing programmes that are available to help students excel in the English language. While Stellar Integrated Creative Writing helps students acquire a stronger foundation for scoring at the PSLE, Starbright Creative Writing helps students attain creative writing mastery. Starbright Creative Writing is a dedicated creative writing class where students learn the mechanics of writing, including how to create a plot that is unique, avoid rote memorising of plot, expand their repertoire of creative writing phrases and conclude their stories with greater finesse. Starlite Online Creative Writing programme, the latest addition to our course menu, helps students learn writing at home with a personal group tutor who possesses an intimate understanding of their weaknesses and writing needs. This intricately planned programme comes with a curriculum that is aligned to Singapore’s unique educational standards and ensures students do well at their PSLE.

Writers Studio’s Junior English Programmes for K1 to Pre-Primary 1 students focus on helping young students succeed at the language earlier. The focus is on reading and writing, where students learn happily and acquire the language organically through role play, music, dance, sports and other spatial activities. A graduation from Writers Studio’s PSLE programmes does not mean that your child loses the opportunity to enjoy the class they used to attend. The Stardream Integrated Writing programme is the advanced phase of Stellar for secondary school students, where students are trained to write discursive essays, argumentative essays and situational writing essays. On top of these, students are trained to score for the narrative and discursive reading comprehension and summary sections. Writers Studio keeps up with the latest exam trends. Expect visual text comprehension and oral practices that are in the latest formats.
